Day 23 – Josh Cha
1. What do you do for a living? (occupation/field of study)
I'm a registered nurse.
2. How do you like to spend your free time?
I like to spend my free time playing basketball with friends and trying food at different restaurants.
3. Share one interesting fact about you that most people don’t know!
In high school, I once brought home a bird I found at the church playground. I've had a bird ever since.
4. Do you have a favorite book in the Bible? If you do, which one is it and why?
I like Joshua because even though he has the qualities of a great leader, it shows that someone who's distinguished is actually someone who's loyal and obedient to God. Joshua is the epitome of leadership, faith and positivity I strive for.
5. Is there a verse/passage in the Bible that has significantly impacted your life? If so, which is it and why?
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.” Psalms 34:19. This is a verse that's really challenged me because I've had to (and still do) read it repeatedly to make sure that it's true.
6. Is there a prayer request that has been on your heart recently? If so, please share with us.
For hearts of compassion for the people in the world that are suffering and broken.
7. Tell us about how you met Christ? (feel free to share a brief testimony)
In middle school my mom "brought" me to a revival for the first time in my life. I remember feeling out of place, and when it was time for the altar call my mom made me go to the front to be prayed for. As soon as the pastor put his hand on my head I felt an indescribable amount of peace and an enormous weight being lifted off me at the same time, and when I opened my eyes I was on the floor staring at the ceiling. I knew from that moment Christianity wasn't just belief in the knowledge I had, but something God wanted me to experience. That living with Jesus is heaven on earth.
