GO TO PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL (MISSIONS)
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
Mat. 28:19 (NIV)
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Acts 1:8 (NIV)
Grace Church is committed to obey Christ’s command to proclaim the gospel and make disciples of all nations. The Holy Spirit promises to give us power and wisdom as we go out and preach.
As the early Christians were sent out to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth, Grace Church is also commissioned to go out to its own respective mission fields.
jerusalem
Our “Jerusalem” is the non-believers who we encounter on a regular basis, such as our non-Christian family members, relatives, friends, classmates, and coworkers.
Judea
We are also sent to “Judea”, which is our neighborhood and community. Here are some of Grace Church's annual projects:
- Flow Summer Camp (VBS): Each summer, we invite children in our neighborhood to come and hear the gospel and learn the love of God through VBS.
- Kingdom Series Conference: We also partner with Kingdom Series Ministries to hold conferences in which we share the gospel and to teach the Word of God to both believers and non-Christians.
Samaria
The Samaritans were the outcasts in Jewish society in Jesus’ time. Grace Church is committed to share the gospel and the love of Christ with those who are socially neglected and financially marginalized. Grace Church partners with other churches and organizations to minister to and serve the low income, undocumented, and homeless people in our city.
To the Ends of the Earth
Grace Church is commissioned to go around the globe to proclaim the gospel and share the love of Christ. Some of our short term missions include Bolivia, Haiti, Oklahoma, and Wales, UK.
