LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power, and the glory are yours
now and forever.
Amen.

APOSTLES’ CREED

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits on the right hand of God
the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge
the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the communion of saints,

37 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed.

38 But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.

39 And no one after drinking old wine desires new, for he says, ‘The old is good.’”

3. Sunday Worship Service Location Change (Jan. 7th)

  • Starting next Sunday, we will no longer meet at Holy Cross High School. Grace Church Sunday service will be held at Haeun Church. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@graceny.org.

4. Baptism Ceremony (Jan. 7th)

  • The following individuals will be baptized/confirmed next week. Please keep them in your prayers.

    • Infant baptism: Sophie Naomi Cho (the daughter of David and Jamie Cho)

5. Holy Cross High School

  • Today is our last day at Holy Cross High School. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness and special thanks to the staff (Alex, Gilbert, Jacinto, Oswaldo and Stephanie) who graciously assisted us over the years. We ask you to keep the school and the staff in your prayers.

6. Stand Up Lock-in Retreat (Jan. 5th - Jan. 6th)

  • There is a Stand Up lock-in retreat this Friday, January 5th to Saturday, January 6th. It will be a fun time of games, food and prayer. Please keep them in your prayers. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Andy Chung at andrewchung.graceny@gmail.com. 

7. Kingdom Series Conference in Korean (Jan. 13th - Jan. 15th)

  • Kingdom Series Conference in Korean will take place over Martin Luther King Day weekend, from January 13th (Sat) to 15th (Mon) in New Jersey. We ask you to keep the staff and the participants in your prayers.

8. Life Group Schedule (Dec. 31st)

  • There will be no Life Group gatherings today as it is the 5th Sunday within the month. Instead, leaders will meet for a time of prayer, sharing, and fellowship. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Andy Chung at andrewchung.graceny@gmail.com. 

9. Life Group Changes (Jan. 21st)

  • Starting Sunday, January 21st, we will be rearranging our Life Groups. We will provide further information regarding the groups as it becomes available. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Andy Chung at andrewchung.graceny@gmail.com. 

10. 2024 Bible Reading & Devotional

  • We have started a new one-year Bible reading plan as a church. We will read through the Old and New Testaments, in hopes to have a better understanding of who Jesus is and God’s great redemptive plan for us. If you would like to join, please reach out to your Life Group leader or contact Danielle at danielle.kim812@gmail.com. 

11. Youth Group Winter Retreat

  • The Youth Group have returned from their winter retreat! Praise the Lord for revealing His love to the youth and for all the blessings we received. Thank you for praying for the staff, the teachers and the youth.
