LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power, and the glory are yours
now and forever.
Amen.
APOSTLES’ CREED
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits on the right hand of God
the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge
the living and the dead.

Luke 5:27-39 (ESV)
27 After this he went out and saw a tax collector named Levi, sitting at the tax booth. And he said to him, “Follow me.”
28 And leaving everything, he rose and followed him.
29 And Levi made him a great feast in his house, and there was a large company of tax collectors and others reclining at table with them.
30 And the Pharisees and their scribes grumbled at his disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”
31 And Jesus answered them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.
32 I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.”
33 And they said to him, “The disciples of John fast often and offer prayers, and so do the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours eat and drink.”
34 And Jesus said to them, “Can you make wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them?
35 The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast in those days.”
36 He also told them a parable: “No one tears a piece from a new garment and puts it on an old garment. If he does, he will tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old.
37 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed.
38 But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.
39 And no one after drinking old wine desires new, for he says, ‘The old is good.’”

2. Sunday Worship Time Change (Oct. 9th)
Starting today, we will meet on Sundays at 12:00 P.M. It will be followed by fellowship lunch and LG meetings as usual. If you have any questions, please email us at info@graceny.org.
3. Outdoor Service and Fellowship (Oct. 16th)
Next week’s Sunday service and fellowship will take place at Alley Pond Park (76th Ave and Springfield Blvd) at 12:00 P.M.. We ask you to arrive at least 30 minutes prior and feel free to invite your family and friends to join us! If you have any questions, please contact David Nam or email us at info@graceny.org.
4. Youth Group Service (Oct. 9th)
Starting today, Youth Group (6th to 12th grade) will have their own worship service in the Music Room at 10:00 A.M. Please reach out to Pastor Andrew Kim at andrewbittkim@gmail.com to obtain more information.
5. Congregational Meeting (Oct. 9th & Oct. 23rd)
We ask all active members of Grace Church to join our congregation meeting today at 3:00 P.M. We will meet in the Music Room after Life Group. There will also be a followup congregational meeting two weeks from today on Oct. 23rd at 3:00 P.M.
Agenda item: Denomination.
6. Wednesday Prayer Room (Oct. 12th)
For the following two weeks (Oct. 12 & Oct. 19) Prayer Room will be held online on Wednesdays at 8:00 P.M. Starting Oct. 26, Prayer Room will be held in person at the Haeun Educational Building (201-03 29th Ave, Bayside, N.Y. 11360) at 8:00 P.M. You may also join us online through Zoom Room #1 if you are unable to attend in person.
7. Thursday Bible Study (Oct. 13th)
We will be studying the Book of Hebrews starting this Thursday. It will take place every Thursday at 7:30 P.M. You may join us either in-person or online. If you are interested, you may sign up at the welcoming desk or contact Pastor Andrew Chung at andrewchung.graceny@gmail.com.
8. Next Year Leadership
The annual commitment letter and the assessment form were sent to the existing ministry leaders, Life Group leaders, and the teachers last week. If you have any questions or if you are not an existing leader but interested in serving as leader, please email Pastor Gus at gus.kim@graceny.org.
9. Leaders Conference (Nov. 5th)
This year’s Leader’s Conference will take place on Saturday, November 5th (time & location TBA). We ask you to pray for all the participants (pastors, elders, deacons, ministry leaders, Life Group leaders, and teachers) as they will be praying for next year’s vision and seeking unity and discernment at the conference.
