LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power, and the glory are yours
now and forever.
Amen.

APOSTLES’ CREED

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits on the right hand of God
the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge
the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy catholic* Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

2 Corinthians 1:3-11 (ESV)

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

5 For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.

6 If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer.

7 Our hope for you is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort.

8 For we do not want you to be unaware, brothers, of the affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself.

9 Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead.

10 He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.

11 You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.

  • Our first mission team has returned safely and well. Praise the Lord for the blessing and the work that He has done through us! Thank you for your prayers.

3. Wales Kingdom Series Conference (Jul. 29th - Aug. 5th)

  • We ask you to continue to pray for Wales Kingdom Series, which will begin tomorrow. The individuals who are serving are: Benjamin, Callie, Danielle, Gus, Joan, John, Kenny, Phoebe, Steven, and Taegi.

4. Thursday Prayer Room (Aug. 4th)

  • Please join us online this Thursday to pray for Wales Kingdom Series staff and the participants (Zoom: 9172223333 / PW: 3333).

5. Wales T-Shirt

  • If you purchased T-shirt to help raise fund for Wales Mission, please pick it up by the welcoming table after service. We greatly appreciate your participation.

6. Membership Orientation (Aug. 7th)

  • Membership orientation will take place next Sunday after lunch. For those of you who may be interested in becoming a member of Grace Church and/or would like to learn about our mission and vision, please sign up with Pastor Andrew Chung or email us at info@graceny.org by this Friday.

7. Welcoming Coffee (Jun. 26th)

  • Please join us for morning coffee on Sundays from 10 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Since we are not allowed to bring coffee inside the auditorium, we ask you to come early enough to enjoy your drink.
