LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power, and the glory are yours
now and forever.
Amen.

APOSTLES’ CREED

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits on the right hand of God
the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge
the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy catholic* Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”—

14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.

15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”

16 As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.

17 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

2. Outdoor Service and Fellowship (Jun. 6th)

  • Next week’s Sunday service and fellowship will take place at Alley Pond Park (76th Avenue and Springfield Blvd). We ask you to arrive by at least 30 minutes prior to service at 10:30 A.M. Lunch will be provided. Feel free to invite your family and friends to join us!

3. Marriage Classes (May 16th)

4. Monday Bible Reading Fellowship (Jun. 14th)

  • We have finished 2 Kings and will start Proverbs on Monday, Jun. 14th, at 7:30 P.M. on Zoom (Meeting Room #1). If you are interested in joining, please reach out to Pastor YT at yt.kim@graceny.org.

5. Leaders Weekend Retreat (May 28th & 29th)

  • Thank you for praying for those who have attended the retreat this weekend. Please continue to pray for the leaders.

6. Tuesday Book Club

  • Tuesday Book Club (“Invitation to Solitude and Silence” by Ruth Barton) ended last week. Thank you for your prayers and your participation. We will keep you posted about our next book. 

7. Prayer Station (Jun. 5th)

  • Come and pray for the commuters in Flushing with Street Life Ministries. The outreach will take place this Saturday from 8:30 A.M. to 1 P.M. For more detailed information, please contact Stewart at sjklaw@gmail.com. 

8. Membership Orientation (Jun. 13th)

  • Membership orientation will take place on Sunday, Jun. 13th after worship service for those of you who may be interested in becoming a member of Grace Church and/or would like to learn about our mission and vision.
