LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power, and the glory are yours
now and forever.
Amen.

APOSTLES’ CREED

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits on the right hand of God
the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge
the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy catholic* Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.

14 “And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God's creation.

15 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot!

16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.

17 For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.

18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.

19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.

20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.

21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”

4. Membership Orientation (Jan. 15th)

  • Membership orientation will take place today after lunch for those of you who may be interested in becoming a member of Grace Church and/or would like to learn about our mission and vision. 5. Youth Group Winter Retreat (Jan. 14th - Jan. 16th)

  • Please pray for the Youth Group as well as the pastors and teachers as they receive what God has prepared at the winter retreat. We pray that the Youth Group would encounter the living God and build Christ centered friendships.

6. Stand Up Lock-In Retreat (Jan. 15th - Jan. 16th)

  • We ask that you keep Stand-Up in your prayers as they will be leaving for their lock-in retreat today. It will be a fun time of games, food, and prayer. Please reach out to Pastor Andrew Chung at andrewchung.graceny@gmail.com if you have any questions. 


7. 2023 Vision T-Shirt Design Winner (Jan. 15th)
