LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power, and the glory are yours
now and forever.
Amen.

APOSTLES’ CREED

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits on the right hand of God
the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge
the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy catholic* Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

  • Happy Year 2023! May God bless you and fill your life with grace and hope. If you would like to receive prayer from the elders and Pastor Gus, you may come to the front of the auditorium immediately after service today.

3. Baptism Ceremony (Jan. 1st)

  • Congratulations William Eru Yoo (son of Thomas and Tara Yoo) and Jonathan Ha on your baptism/confirmation. Please keep them in your prayers.

4. 2023 Prayer Card

  • We ask you to share your prayer requests for the upcoming year with us. New Year’s prayer cards are available at the welcoming table or you can share with us online at graceny.org. Our leaders and prayer team will be committed to praying for you.

5. 2023 Scripture Card

  • You may pick up your Scripture cards for the year by the welcoming desk starting today after service.

6. 2023 Bible Reading & Devotional (Jan. 2nd)

  • We will be starting a new one-year daily Bible reading plan as a church tomorrow. We will read through the entire New Testament, in hopes to have a better understanding of who Jesus is and God’s great redemptive plan for us. If you would like to join, please reach out to your Life Group leader or contact Danielle at danielle.kim812@gmail.com.  

7. Membership Orientation (Jan. 8th)

  • Membership orientation will take place next Sunday, January 8th after lunch for those of you who may be interested in becoming a member of Grace Church and/or would like to learn about our mission and vision. If you would like to sign up or have any questions, please email Pastor Andrew Chung at andrewchung.graceny@gmail.com. Deadline to sign up is Friday, January 6th.

8. Youth Group Winter Retreat (Jan. 14th - Jan. 16th)

  • Youth Group “Come and See” winter retreat will take place on January 14th to January 16th at Fellowship Deaconry (3575 Valley Rd, Basking Ridge, NJ. 07920). You may reach out to Pastor Andrew Kim at andrewbittkim@gmail.com to sign up or for more information.

9. Stand Up Lock-In Retreat (Jan. 15th - Jan. 16th)

  • There is a Stand Up lock-in retreat on January 15th to January 16th. It will be a fun time of games, food, and prayer. Rides will also be provided. If you are interested in signing up, please reach out to Pastor Andrew Chung at andrewchung.graceny@gmail.com. 

10. 2023 Vision T-Shirt Design Winner (Jan. 15th)

  • Congratulations to Paul Choi’s life group for winning the t-shirt design contest! Pre-orders for the t-shirt will be available through a QR code at the welcoming desk as well as at graceny.org. Please submit your order by January 15th. Let us hold onto the theme, ‘New Wine, New Wineskins’ as a church together!
